The Hamsa Hand is an ancient Middle Eastern amulet symbolizing the Hand of God. In all faiths it is a protective sign. It is said to bring it’s owner happiness, luck, health, and good fortune. The word, “hamsa,” derives its name from the five fingers on the hand. In Morocco in particular it is often used as a symbol of protection from envy of any kind.
